Bernie here! Just got done installing the new hy-dit. It looks great and blends into the wall nicely. I did have two little snags though. The first was the instructions say to drill a 13/64 hole for the screw inserts, (I should have looked at the inserts first but didn't) the holes were too big. I just cut a strip of plywood to go behind the drywall and screwed into that which ends up being stronger all around. The other problem was that I used 5/8 inch drywall so the screws were just long enough to bite into the stud but not enough to get tight, so I bought 1 1/2 inch screws and it went together just fine.

Thanks for a great product and something else for clean freaks like myself (everything in it's place) to add to each bathroom. I think this should be standard in every new construction or renovation on the market, I'll bet you'd agree with that. And by the way, in case you use this as a testimonial, we're not related in any way, I'm just a pleased customer!

I received two of the three Hy-dit units I ordered.  Initially I was skeptical about ordering a new product sight unseen.  However, after receiving them, I'm pleased to say they are exactly what I hoped they would be.  Can you give me an estimated delivery time on the third unit?  Also, I ordered three paint grade wood doors for the units which also haven't arrived.  I look forward to your response.

Hi Craig:  I had been out of town, but they were waiting for me when I got home. They appear to be in good shape. I'm building a house, so its not quite time to install them. I received my Hy-dit last week and my contractor installed it immediately.

It's really a good idea.  I didn't get the companion door cover for it and

it looks just fine how it is.

I wish you had them 18 months ago when I was remodeling the upstairs

bathroom!

Yes, the Hy-dits arrived safe n' sound last week.  One is already installed.

  This was actually my wife's purchase, and we have limited web access as

we're currently "in between" houses.  I'm writing from my office.

We (she) will probably do some "custom finishing" of the Hy-dit units once

installed (new knobs, perhaps wooden; painted or even paneled surfaces etc).

  Maybe we can send you photos of any such work once done.

Clever product concept.  And thanks for checking in.
